Jeremy Haile is a staff lawyer at HomeBase and a member of the firm's federal team. His portfolio includes youth homelessness, policy analysis, and advocacy. He has facilitated strategic planning and provided technical assistance in San Francisco, Santa Cruz, and other communities.
Previously, Jeremy was federal advocacy counsel at The Sentencing Project in Washington, DC. He also served as a congressional staffer in the office of Rep. Lloyd Doggett of Texas, where he was instrumental in passing legislation, signed into law by President Obama, to promote access to legal aid. Earlier, Jeremy served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Armenia and worked as a case manager for individuals experiencing homelessness in Dallas.
Jeremy earned a JD from The George Washington University Law School, and a degree in political science from Abilene Christian University. He lives in San Francisco with his wife Jen, whom he initially met in the first grade.
